I've always enjoyed music, especially writing lyrics, and spent several years as a KJ (Karaoke Jockey), at an amazing place called The Common Interest in Austin, Texas. No better city to enjoy music in, and there were so many talented, kind and fun people there! You may have known me as DJ SweeTea back then. Ha!
When I first started writing my own music with the intention of sharing it, my YouTube channel was called AbraxasPoolYT, mostly because I love Gregg Rolie and all the amazing Santana/Journey artists who made the 1997 Abraxas Pool album. I just wanted to honor that music. I changed the channel to avoid confusion (not that there would be any lol).
I create all the lyrics myself, without AI, and get an idea of the song I want to make, then use Suno to match the voice and style to what I'm looking for. I have a paid membership and own the copyright to my songs. I enjoy writing music and hope you enjoy listening to what I've come up with. My kids like sillier songs, and I love just about every genre, so I try to have a little something for everybody. I am also always open to other artists wanting to record any of my songs for their own. Just let me know and we'll figure something out!
As somebody with a non-visible disability, my music is a great outlet for me, and hopefully a source of economic stability eventually. Thank you for your time and support!
Smile through your pain. Tell people you appreciate them. Love everybody sharing this life. There's no room for hate, and everybody deserves support.
As stated above, I am a lyricist and songwriter. I do not sing or play instruments in my recorded songs unless specifically noted. I've tried, but my performance isn't good enough at this time, so I write and construct each song, then us an AI program to complete the song so it sounds the way it did in my head.
